Context
Quick history lesson: 8 December 2024 , the world woke up to Syria's fallen regime . At last , Syria is free , from Al Assad ( who took refuge in russia btw) . After this , Syrians began freeing their families from prisons . One of them was Saidnaya . Look , the horror's of what the fallen regime has done there , I can't even describe . Look it up and trust me you won't sleep at night , none of us did . Documents show that more than 40 000 Syrians were literally living under the ground .
To the point it earned the name "The Human Slaughterhouse".But from the darkest places comes the beautiful of things....
The Wall
Walking in the prison , One of Al Jazeera's reporters saw a wall where was written these words:
بينا معاد لو إحنا بعاد أكيد راجع ولو بيني وبينه بلاد
As soon as I saw it , tears came down from my eyes . It was like seeing a master piece , I’ll let you see for yourself :
Review
For those who don't know, Amr diab is well known amongst our arab mothers . Much like Justin Bieber 2010 era . The song is about going back to your lover no matter what happens , promising him you will be back together , having hope while he lost it.
My favorite part is :

It says that I can't resist the days , no words can describe my love , and the long nights I sleep . For me it means that I can't bare the days I live without you , even tho I don't know you now , I still can't live without you . Words can't describe how much I want you , how much I need you . The long I spend dreaming about you , thinking about you . Will I ever see you ? Will I ever know you?
في يوم هنعود ده بينا وعود وفي غيابه أكيد لسه الأمل موجود
One day we will go back to each other , we have promises between us , in your absence , there is still hope . To anyone going through a breakup , if you love that person , have hope , it is the only thing you got . To those who have never known their true lovers , have hope , it is the only thing you got . We were all strangers once .
