Context
So the story goes that Devon Lee Carlson and Jesse Rutherford (two influencers) were dating and in love until 2021 , after the break up , Devon found refuge in Billie (her friend) . All was good until July 2022 , Billie began dating Jesse . She couldn't bare backstabing her friend so they ended things in Mai 2023 , she still sees her friend in the back of her mind .
PS:Apparently the songs name (wildflower) is taken from a limited iphone cases collection by Devon lee , her friend .
Review
I will not explain the song's lyrics , you can find that everywhere . I will review as of what I see , as a matter fact , I didn't even know the song's story until I'm writing this . And it still doesn't change that this song is beautiful .
1-Vocals I don't know what this way of singing is called but it's like Billie is out of breath , like she is dying inside her while singing , it's like a poet telling his last words . I used to think that Billie's fans were a bunch of depression junkies , now I don't.
2-Lyrics As I said before , I never knew the story behind the lyrics but they touched me . The lyrics felt like everyone's story , like you are reliving a long lost memory .

Everyone can feel that , we as humans , we all seek happiness and freedom , freedom from our thoughts , ourself and even our world . Sometime I stare at the birds and the moment when they don't use their wings , you can see how free they are . We all wish we could be like that .
